1.We are Amazonians is a Global sustainability Platform created by EBCF in partnership with the Amazonians Group designed to promote:

       (I) Rainforest conservation;
       (II) biodiversity protection (fauna, flora and rivers);
       (III) sustainable development of local/traditional communities
       (IV) CO2 emissions reduction.  

2. We are Amazonians is promoted worldwide by “Amazonian Alliance” to raise public awareness, engage individuals, public and private organizations in order to fight global warming, poverty and deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest


3. We are Amazonians is completely aligned with the UN SDG’s (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals). 

4.We are Amazonians platform is based on 4 different pillars (environmental, social, climate and economic) 

       4.1. Environmental programs 

  • The environmental programs aims to promote and support:
  • a. the Creation and management of Private Reserves of Sustainable Development (RPDS);
  • 40.000 Acres already certified as RPDS 
  • 2.000.000 Acres in the portfolio yet to be certified

b. Protected Reserves Monitoring systems (satellite and on the ground monitoring systems)

c. Inventory of fauna and flora species (rare, extinction, exotic, natives, etc)

        4.2. Social Programs 

        The social programs and projects expects to benefit 20.000 people from which 3.000 people in 15 different communities are already benefited in the areas of:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Woman empowerment
  • Income generation
  • Infra-Structure

       4.3 Climate Program

       The CO2 Emissions reduction project (REDD+) expects to offset approximately 50 million tons of CO2 from which 3 million tons is already certified and validated by the global standards VCS and CCB.

      4.4. Economic 

     The economic pilar of the platform was designed to generate revenue streams through eco-services and business related activities in order to finance the other 3 pillars whilst sharing benefits with the local       communities, stakeholders and shareholders, as follows:

A. Sustainable Harvesting of “non-timber forest products” (nuts, fruits, seeds, oils, extracts, fragrances, essences, powder, etc) for the Superfood, beverage,  nutraceutical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
